From the 1st July 2007 rebates of up to $400 will be offered to property owners with in the City of Port Lincoln for the installation of new or replacement rainwater tanks to existing homes. This policy does not apply to new dwellings, which as building rules stipulate, must provide additional water supply to supplement mains water.
The City of Port Lincoln policy is to offer additional incentives to residents in excess of the SA Water Rainwater Tank and Plumbing Rebate Scheme to install rainwater tanks of 10,000 litres and over.
