Self Cleaning Filtration Process
1. As water arrives it is equally distributed across twin cascade filters.
2. Stage 1 – Primary coarse filtration. Larger particles deposit on coarse screen and are washed off into waste discharge. Clean water flows through to second stage.
3. Stage 2 – Pre-filtered water flows across the secondary filter (0.5 mm aperture size). Due to the special mesh structure of the filter, solids wash off to the waste outlet leading to a very low maintenance self cleaning device .
4. Final clean filtered water flows through to storage.
5. Waste pipe plumbed to kerb or roof water pit.
